Everton ace Richarlison reveals he struggles with English weather and the food… but Brazilian forward admits: ‘The girls are very pretty!’
Everton and Brazil forward Richarlison has opened up on adapting to life in England as he admitted he thinks ‘the girls are very pretty!’
The 22-year-old swapped the beaches of Brazil for English shores in 2017 when he left Fluminense to join Watford.
After one season in London he moved north to Everton but he has revealed he is yet to grow to love everything England has to offer.
Brazilian forward Richarlison has revealed he has found life in England difficult to adapt to
‘The first year in England was really complicated,’ the Everton striker told France Football, via Sport Witness. ‘I couldn’t adapt to the temperature. On the pitch, my legs were shaking, my ears were burning.
‘My culinary culture is so different from English cuisine that I really can’t get used to what we eat here. When I arrived at Watford, I lost about five pounds because I didn’t like local food.’
But it is not all bad for Richarlison.
On the pitch Richarlison has impressed for Everton but he says he is unimpressed off the pitch
The Brazilian admitted that English women have caught his eye during his two years in the Premier League.
He added: ‘There is a lot of friendliness and people are educated. And then the girls are very pretty!’
Despite struggling to find his feet off the pitch, Richarlison had no such issues on it as he scored 17 times in all competitions last season.
That saw Richarlison catch the eye of a host of top sides including Paris Saint-Germain but he looks content to develop his game at Goodison Park.
Currently away with Brazil on Copa America duty, he will hope he returns to Merseyside with a taste of a trophy as he looks to leave his mark on the 2019-20 campaign.
